Mission and Vision

Ugunja Development Initiative (UDI) is a youth focused and youth-led Community Based Organization (CBO) that was established in 2016 in Ugunja Sub County-Siaya County. UDI is a non-profit organization that has continued to work with communities, partners and multi-stakeholders to contribute to improved Health System and increase investment to essential health services and information particularly Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and women, youths and persons with disability. We have operated in Siaya County-Kenya since 2018 by creating a strong adolescent, youths and young people’s network that engages effectively with government at all levels, the private sector and other stakeholders accountable for health systems, to deliver equitable, accessible and high quality SRHR services and promote growth and development of vulnerable population.
